We’re not really sure who said it, but the expression, be the change you want to see in the world is something that really means a lot to us here at See It Report It. We are really fighting hard to make our own little corner of the world a better place by engaging people into activism, talking about issues and we urge everyone else, wherever you might be reading this from, to try and do the same. Time is running out.
Be the change you want to see in the world – not just a bumper sticker
Our philosophy could easily just be summed up by saying that for us the expression be the change you want to see in the world isn’t just a bumper sticker. We really took it to heart. We honestly believe that if more people would start looking, instead of looking away, started speaking, instead of keeping quite, the world would be a better place.
Our message to everyone who happens to be reading this would be to work hard on first making sure that you yourself are in a good place, as far as school, job, family, friends goes. Don’t shut yourself in. And once you’ve got that covered, try and be the change for good, a change you yourself want to see in the world. Don’t make it so that for you, this expression is just a bumper sticker.
